LED lighting at Becker France

50% annual energy saving

At the end of 2022, we switched to LED lighting at our facilities in Rambouillet (78). Initially, the lighting was largely made up of fluorescent tubes, which consume much more energy than LED lighting. As a result, all the neon lights in our workshop and warehouse were replaced by LED tubes. We have also opted for the LED solution for the restrooms and corridors. The latter also have motion detectors. All in all, this change has enabled us to halve our energy consumption for lighting.

As well as saving energy, LED bulbs last longer than fluorescent bulbs. What's more, LEDs contain no toxic substances, such as the mercury found in fluorescent bulbs.
