Junior Uni Wuppertal

We not only donate regularly to the Junior Uni, but have also been working actively with the young students for many years; most recently again with the challenge "Always keeping the ball rolling with conveyor technology".

The Wuppertal Junior Uni is an innovative, extracurricular place of learning for the Bergisches Land region. It offers young people between the ages of four and 20 practice-oriented courses for joint experimentation, research, and design in various subject areas. Almost exclusively privately financed, the Junior Uni now also provides valuable impetus for the educational landscape beyond the region.

With an inventive spirit and plenty of practical fun, our education department accompanied the annual Junior Uni Challenge. The goal of the group of young students was to transport a table tennis ball over a certain distance using a vacuum or compressed air. The whole thing should be as creative as possible, and the medium air or vacuum should be used in a versatile way. As a grand finale, the individual projects were presented and awarded prizes. As an innovative company and hidden champion, it is a matter of the heart for us to support such a lighthouse project as the Wuppertal Junior University for many years to promote the spirit of research of the following generations.
